CUSTOM BUNK BEDS FOR ADULTS
Big Sky Bunks custom builds luxury bunk beds for adults and kids in North Idaho, using only the highest quality timbers and specialty milled bed rails. Since 2015 we've built for more than 1,000 happy clients across the United States, and our shop ships more than 140 beds each year.

Solid timber, heavy build. A finished bed weighs 750 to 1,000 lbs depending on size and add-ons, so it stands steady with adults on the top bunk.

Full headboards and rails on every level. Every bed includes double headboards on each bunk level, two rows of wooden safety rails and a wooden end-load ladder.

Built to your specs. After you order, we send a spec sheet to confirm your ceiling height, bed size, stain color and add-ons, then let you know your build week.

Any mattress. Memory foam, hybrid or traditional. An 11" mattress fits best, and anything from 8" to 12" works.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will a bunk bed fit my ceiling?
Each bunk post is 90" tall to fit most 8 to 9 foot ceilings, and we can cut the posts down for lower rooms. For a triple bunk we recommend a 10 foot ceiling.

How does shipping work?​
Your bed ships disassembled and packed on a large pallet with a crate built around it. A freight company delivers it to your home and lowers it on a liftgate to your driveway. Shipping is a flat rate based on your region and the bed you choose, and each product page lists its rate.

Is assembly difficult?
We recommend two people, and it generally takes a couple of hours. While your bed is in transit we send our step-by-step assembly video, and you'll receive all the hardware plus an 8 point socket for your drill or impact driver.

How long will it take to get my bed?
Every bed is built to order, so production time depends on our workload, and fall is our busiest season. Call us at 208-610-9704 for the current build time.

Can I return my bed?
